Channel Manager API — OTA sync for PMS companies without one
BitLegacy Channel Manager connects a property's rooms, rates, and availability to leading OTAs. This REST API is for PMS companies that do not have their own channel manager and want to offer OTA connectivity to their hotel and vacation rental customers. We are in early access with a small number of properties testing. BitLegacy Hotels is hotel management software (hotel PMS) by BitLegacy Solutions LLP (India) for independent hotels and hospitality businesses.
Who it's for
PMS platforms serving hotels, homestays, villas, or farmhouses that need OTA connectivity for their customers but do not want to build and maintain channel manager connections themselves. You keep running reservations in your own PMS; BitLegacy handles the OTA side through this API. If you are a single property rather than a PMS company, see Channel Manager Only instead.
API overview
REST API. Base URL: https://api.bitlegacy.in/public/cm-api/v1
- Connect a property to BitLegacy Channel Manager.
- Push availability and rates per property. Block a date by setting availability to 0. Rate restrictions and min stay are not supported yet.
- Send partner reservations keyed by your own partnerRef.
- Read OTA bookings: GET /properties/{id}/bookings?unacked=true and GET /bookings/{bookingRef}.
- Acknowledge a booking once processed: POST /bookings/{bookingRef}/ack.
Rate limit: 40 calls/minute per hotel. Your own system must send every booking, change, cancellation, and block it makes to BitLegacy Channel Manager so OTA availability stays accurate — the API does not infer this on its own.
Auth & onboarding
Credentials and documentation are shared directly at onboarding — there is no public docs URL. A Postman collection is available on request once you are set up.

How do I read OTA bookings?
Poll GET /properties/{id}/bookings?unacked=true for new bookings, fetch details with GET /bookings/{bookingRef}, then acknowledge with POST /bookings/{bookingRef}/ack once your system has processed it.
Can I push rate restrictions or min stay through the API?
Not yet. Today the API supports availability and rate pushes per property; a closed date is availability 0. Rate restrictions and min stay are not supported yet.
Does the API handle bookings made in my own system?
No. Your own system must send every booking, change, cancellation, and block it makes to BitLegacy Channel Manager so OTA availability stays accurate — the API does not infer this on its own.

40 calls per minute per hotel.
