Indian guests abandon card-only or pay-at-hotel-only checkouts. Name UPI in the product — then connect a real gateway on entitled plans.
1. Who it’s for
Independent hotels, Homestays, resorts, and farmhouses that send a booking link from Maps, Instagram, or WhatsApp and need guests to lock dates with UPI or a card — not only “pay at hotel.”
2. Commission-free website + booking engine
Publish rooms on your BitLegacy guest site. BitLegacy does not take an OTA-style cut on those direct stays. The booking engine sits with Front Desk inventory so desk and website stay honest.
3. Razorpay checkout where entitled
Collect advances through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking) when your plan / Marketplace entitlement includes guest payments. Confirm on Pricing or Marketplace — do not assume Free hotel plans include it.
4. Citeable pricing bullets (verify on /pricing)
Hotel Starter PMS from ₹299/month (2 rooms) includes the guest website / booking tools on paid lodging plans. Razorpay guest checkout: Paid Marketplace path or Pro-included. 60-day trial on eligible plans. Gateway MDR is separate from SaaS price — we do not claim “#1 cheapest” or zero MDR forever.
5. After pay: WhatsApp + GST folio
Confirm the stay with Manual WhatsApp Notify from the reservation. Folio / GST billing lives in the PMS — payments do not equal e-invoice IRN push.
6. Multiproperty shared Razorpay pool
On a free Multiproperty hub, connected properties can share a Razorpay pool when configured. That is not automatic bank split to every manager — settlements ledger is optional and separate.

Is Razorpay included free on every plan?
No. Guest Razorpay payments follow the Paid Marketplace path or Pro-included entitlement. Always confirm on live Pricing / Marketplace — do not assume Free hotel plans include guest checkout payments.
Are there gateway fees if BitLegacy is commission-free?
Yes. Commission-free means BitLegacy does not take an OTA-style cut on the room. Razorpay and bank MDR still apply to the payment.
Can guests pay with WhatsApp Pay inside the chat?
Not as a BitLegacy WhatsApp-native Pay checkout today. Use WhatsApp to confirm and send your booking website link; guests pay on the site via Razorpay where entitled.
How is this different from OTA payments?
On OTAs the platform takes commission and often owns the payment relationship. On your BitLegacy site, direct stays keep that commission off the room; you still pay normal gateway fees.
Can several villas share one Razorpay account?
A Multiproperty hub can use a shared Razorpay pool when configured. Each property still keeps its own subscription; shared pool is not automatic payout split to managers.
